Peace Revolution

In 1966 Robert Kennedy made a truly profound statement, he said,

“…revolution is coming — a revolution which will be peaceful if we are wise enough; compassionate if we care enough; successful if we are fortunate enough — But a revolution is coming whether we will it or not. We can affect its character; we cannot alter its inevitability…”

For centuries, ever since history was recorded, we as a human race have been longing for peace. Why peace? Why do we want peace in the world? This answer might vary slightly from person to person, but ultimately it comes down to living a happy life. Peace is necessary to live in happiness.

However, since we do not have world peace yet, we’ve got to ask, Perhaps we were looking for it in the wrong place. The true way to world peace is from the inside out.

This is the Peace Revolution.

True peace lies within us, not in protests or wars, debates or in awards, meeting or conference…peace will be forever out of reach if we continue to try this way. Imagine a glass of muddy water. If you try to polish the glass, the water will never be cleansed. We have to start from the INSIDE.

Once you start experiencing inner peace and stillness, a transformation will begin. An INNER TRANSFORMATION. Within a still mind, a peaceful mind will emerge. A peaceful mind will think positive thoughts. A person that thinks positively will speak in a peaceful manner, act in a peaceful way and those words as well as those actions of peace will lead to peace and harmony at its core. From you, peace will spread in all directions one heart and one soul at a time. It’s so simple!

The Peace Revolution aims to bring about world peace through inner peace, one person at a time. www.peacerevolution2010.org is an online self development program that has ‘inner peace time’, or meditation as the means to uncovering the peace that lies within each of us. Our true nature. Our true humanity.

We are looking for ambassadors to represent 208 different countries at the Peace Revolution conference in Bangkok, Thailand in February 2010. We would like to offer scholarships to these ambassadors that include airfare and accommodation while attending the seminar.
