The Engine Behind SpiritYouth

 

SpiritYouth is a youth-led initiative that is created by the World Spirit Youth Council. WSYC is a project of Children of The Earth. To read more about COE an WSYC, please read below. Children of the Earth is a not-for-profit eighteen year old, 501 © (3), officially recognized United Nations NGO organization dedicating itself to the building of a more ethical future.

 

To promote this, COE offers children and youth leadership skills programs at home and abroad; educational workshops, conferences and addresses at national and international forums, and fosters building networks and coalitions of groups with common purposes to further the concept of building global cooperation, inter-cultural understanding, spiritual understanding and ethical living skills.

 

Its goal is, that one by one, youth hear the call and individually become spiritually inspired, socially responsible and an active peace builder. Its website : www.children-of-the-earth.org gives its full history. Children of the Earth is considered on the frontier of establishing international young people’s gatherings around the world. From setting up the first Children and Youth Peace Center in Ghana to bringing together groups for peace in a time of conflict in Nepal to orchestrating The World Spirit Youth Council as a growing movement for youth inspired spiritually. Children of the Earth is establishing world COE Chapters and Hubs for building deep social change.

COE is an organization that inspires young people from around the world to become conscious leaders for the betterment of a peaceful global society. It is the youth leading the way toward a more sustainable future. With hubs and chapters all around the world, the youth connect with each other, weaving a web that bridges all divides. A human connection, all inclusive, with respect to diversity, for the purpose of creating a world that is aligned with the highest good of all. Deep social change occurs one youth at a time as well as one project at a time. Hubs and Chapters giving form to these youth gatherings to foster this.

 

OUR ULTIMATE VISION is to support and offer refuge to young people in their inner search and recognition of their personal destiny to manifest a life commitment to walk in right relationship to all of life learning to release personal need for working towards the highest good as one life in creating a mutual harmonious sustainable world.

The Chapters are the local expressions of the global movement, which affect social change by working for peace and justice in the communities where the Chapter members live. Thus, COE Chapter members are empowering themselves to create positive social change in their own lives and communities.

Chapters can be formed independently through the COE main office or by attendees of conferences.

COE offers assistance to Chapters in their formal participation as an affiliate of the Department of Public Information NGO status within the UN system and supports them in their local regions for grant development. In addition, COE supports these Chapters through training workshops, networking, and access to many other similar organizations found in the global arena. Our training materials will consist of a complete listing of all universal principles and documents supported by the United Nations and a Manual for step by step learning about peace making and creating change in communities. All technical resources such as SKYPE, MSM, YAHOO are used to network for global conferencing communication.

 

Children of the Earth houses as its premiere project The World Spirit Youth Council. This is the international youth movement that fosters, inspires and activates spirituality, in all its forms through initiating gatherings, training spaces and projects for and by youth. The work of the WSYC is centered on the principles of individual spirituality, unity in diversity, inter-faith collaboration and youth cooperation.

The World Spirit Youth Council is the cutting edge formulation of the ideas percolating that will activate youth around the world to unite as a movement in the face of bringing spirituality as the positive force of world peace. The time has come to go beyond individual rights, tolerance, peace, conflict resolution to the understanding that in higher consciousness we are all one. In that living understanding religious differences are only an outer garment for recognizing individuality like name, culture and national identity. If youth today can begin to focus on their inner calling of their personal destiny and remembrance that they are part of a greater tapestry of life, then we will being to develop models that work for equity and understanding and universal compassion for all.

WSYC Hubs are the youth gatherings in the name of forming clusters for spiritual consciousness development and recognition.

The HUBs are the engines that support that movement on each continent. HUBs are virtual offices that organize the World Spirit Youth Council conferences, and coordinate spiritual trainings for spiritual activation and skill building in conflict management and leadership. Each HUB organizes, in conjunction with the COE Executive Director, its annual conference and raises money for conference expenses. COE helps develop the program for the conferences, invites speakers, helps fund international youth participation, offers training materials, and facilitates international logistics. The HUB conferences become the networking mecca for participants to exchange spiritual ideas and plan future work in their local communities. Our goal is to have one HUB per continent, which will serve to inspire, energize the youth delegates who, in turn, will create social change in their communities. The HUBs are connected to COE for support which then, in turn, connects all the HUBs as a global network.

The WSYC comes together as a youth movement to inspire the awakening of people of all nations to the experience of universal Love as understood by Truth, Justice, Compassion and other ethical virtues that unite humankind as one family while fostering cultural, ethnic, religious and personal diversity. Our vision is to unite in order to remember that we are one family of humankind.

The WSYC envisions achieving this by aligning individuals and organization , inspired by a deeper spiritual consciousness, and inviting all to commit to inner transformation for initiating world peace actions towards forming a more global harmonious society.

Creating Networks for individuals and organizations already spiritually/action orientated and supporting them in becoming part of a growing movement of the voice of youth for inner peace for world peace.

ONE SPIRIT is the youth Newsletter and OneSpirit a social technology site (spirityouth.org)are the present vehicles offered as Open Space for all or any youth to participate globally in the consciousness movement. Children of the Earth through the WSYC project acts as a central point for all youth organizations to extract resources for raising the importance of spirituality in their own organizations and within their own lives. The WSYC hosts the youth sites and information distribution.

The Open Space concept of One Spirit encourages mentors that are respected in the field of spiritual peacemaking to foster giving voice to the youth through ongoing dialogue with them.

These formats create a linking with other groups that are working in the field of spiritual leadership for a harmonious world.
